Annual parents day cum fun fair celebration...

Rosary School, Ajara celebrated its annual parents day program on 9 th and 10 th December 2022.Many eminent dignitaries were present along with the Ajara Tahsildar Mr. Vikas Ahir and Police inspector Mr. Sunil Harugade.The principal Fr. Felix Lobo and the school Manager Fr. Cajeton Rodrigues invited all the well wishers and parents of the school for the program. The program began at 6.00 p.m. with the introduction and welcoming.Mr Manuel sir and Mr. Vijay sir did the welcoming. The chief guest and the invited dignitaries lit the lamp. The program had two sections first day and second day. Beautiful dances and skits were presented by the students. Students of std tenth Athrav instead of Aditya. Vote of thanks and the program concluded with Vande matram. The chief guest Mr. Ahir appreciated the students talents and motivated to participate in every school activities for your own interest and development. Mr. Harugade added saying Rosary is known and has good standard of education for many years . Happy to be here to witness such well organised program.He presented patriotic song on this occasion as he had singing talents from his schooling days. The parents, dignitaries besides this enjoyed and appreciated the fun fair organisation by students and teachers. The school management and the school thanked for the beautiful backdrop ,sound system.incharge of the counters and volunteers who supported to have great success and for the love they have towards their school . The Principal in his address proposed and extended warm regards to all the parents present for the annual parents day and wished in advance everyone merry christmas . Tr. Shaileja Kamble and Tr. Nishat Chand proposed the vote of Program concluded with vande Matram.

Children's Day Celebration

Children’s Day Celebration In Rosary School Ajara…. Manuel sir November 15th , This day reminds us the birth of Pt. Nehru, country’s first Prime minister. We too celebrated it in our Rosary school. The program started with the lighting of the lamp and garlanding the portrait of Cha Cha Nehru. The Rosary staff conducted the assembly. The program had various activities including prayer song, funny news , cultural program. jokes, skit etc. Tr. Sanchez delivered the speech on children’s day . Children had common dance to celebrate the occasion and for the entertainment.Fr. Principal proposed the vote of thanks and wished the Children on this day. The school children were served with the festive meal after the program. Teachers made this day very meaningful and memorable for their students. Teaching and non -teaching staff worked to make this grand successful day.

On the Children’s Day the AARSA office bearers were felicitated on the occasion of their first foundation day for establishing and getting registered the AARSA official. President Dr. Rosario D’Souza and office bearers were present to witness the occasion. They too in presence of the staff and students inaugurated the alumni board in the school premises. Dr. Rosario briefed the Idea about the alumni and appealed that many more ex-students should join to serve their Alma -mater in the coming years. He on his part the ex students association promised to give their help and support in need for the development of the school. Fr. principal thanked the members of the AARSA for their valuable contribution and commitment to their school.

Laying of the foundation stone

Laying of the foundation stone in Rosary School Ajara by Bishop of Sindhudurg ….. Manuel sir.

Indeed a significant day in the history of Rosary School. The ceremony of laying and blessing of the stone for new block of Jr. College extension was held on September 17  at the hands of Rt. Rev. Bishop Alwyn Baretto of Sindhudurg diocesan in the presence of large gathering of students, parents and dignitaries.

Teacher's Day celebration

Rosary School had the belated celebration of the Teachers Day programme on 10 th sept 2022 to honour and commomerate Dr. Radhakrishnan on his birthday. The SSC students planned and organized the entire programme under the guidance of Fr. Principal Felix students had put up the cultural dances and skit. Teachers were felicitated with flowers and cards as students affection to their teachers. The SSC students conducted the classes for all students from Jr. KG to std IX . Children enjoyed the day and had good experience. later all the students and teachers had a festive lunch to celebrate the occasion.

75th independence day celebration

The Rosary school had a 75th independence day celebration. Mr. Ismail Shaikh Havaldar was the chief guest who hoisted the flag.In his address to the students he shared his thoughts about Mother India ,it’s progress and development. Principal Fr.Felix, Manager Fr. Cajeton and festival committee In-charge Tr. Saraswati planned and organised the Program. Tr. Nishat and house in-charge teachers guided the students to decorate the boards and school premises. Students from different classes presented their dances, speeches, cultural costume wear and rangoli to make it memorable day. The drill and March past was led by Mr. Santosh Kadam sir.

Rakhi Making competition 2022

To make children aware about the culture of India and importance of Raksha Bandhan Rosary School Ajara organized Rakhi Making. The atmosphere was filled with festive spirit. The event was celebrated with enthusiasm and zeal. The students displayed their talents and decorated rakhis with creative minds. They used different materials like bindis, thread, stickers, ribbons, beads and even waste material. We can see the fusion of modern with traditional styles in their rakhis. Tr. Nishat incharge and staff took initiative in organizing this competition.

Monsoon games

Monsoon games to begin soon. Preparation and practices for the exhibition match by staff and students. Group Games lots and plan for the next two days to go on Rosary boarding school ground.

Ajara Police Inspector Mr. Sunil Hirugade and other dignitaries will inugrate and witness the thrill of the kabaddi live matches and lot of excitement to play the monsoon games.

Grandparents Day celebration at Rosary church and Rosary school Ajara

Grandparents Day celebration at Rosary church and Rosary school Ajara. Manuel sir. Grandparents are wealth to be treasured. Today’s youngsters can listen, learn and act in ways that appreciate and honor their elders. What looks crisis can become instead a chance to build a new way of being church as Pope Francis says. On July 24th Sunday the Rosary church anticipated and had the celebration of feast of St. Joachim and Anne parents of our lady and grandparents to Jesus. The school children prepared beautiful greeting cards with great enthusiasm and wished their parents and grandparents. The school had Card Making competition. Where in the winners cards and all other cards were displayed on school notice boards and walls. This added joy for the parents to see the creativity of their Young ones and love for their grandparents.

Rosary students participated with zeal and interest in extra curricular activity

Rosary students of class One to ten participated with zeal and interest in extra curricular activity – Mother Teresa children’s development society of Aurangabad had organised the National Colouring and Handwriting competition for the academic year 2022. More than 276 students participated in both competition.

world international Yoga day

Today the Rosary School observed the world international Yoga day in school. In his introduction speech Manuel sir told the importance of the yoga in today’s life. Team from uttur Deep Sports yoga academy and their instructor Mr Sandeep Kumbhar and Mr Rohit Kurunkar along with other three students performed yogasanas . Fr Felix welcomed the guests and motivated students giving his best wishes.

The students were guided by Mr. Santosh Kadam Sir and Mr. Stephan D’souza Sir. Fr. Felix lobo congratulated all the winners and participants.

Sports Tournament organized by Kedari Redekar Foundation

Kedari Redekar Foundation had organized sports tournament on account of 24th   Birth Anniversary of Late Mr. Kedari Redekar. The students of Rosary English School , Ajara participated in this tournament. Miss Naik Nayati (Calss 7), Mast. Ghevade Shubhum (Class 7), Miss Sawant Sejal(Class 4), Miss. Navrekar Tanvi( Class 3), Mast. Savant Prathamesh (Class 7), Mast. Jadhav Sachidanand(Class 7) and Miss. D’souza Myra(Class 3) participated in 100 m running event and received certificate of participation.Mast. Athrav Navrekar (Class 6) Participated in Short Put event. Mast Prathamesh Savant (Class 7) participated in long jump event. Mast. Sachidanand Jadhav , Miss Myra D’souza and Mast. Parthamesh Savant participated in 2km Marathon race.Miss Myra D’souza and Mast. Prathamesh Savant secured 5th place in 2km marathon and were awarded with certificate, medal and sports kit.

Feast of Our Lady of Rosary, Ajara

The feast of Our lady of Rosary, Ajara was celebrated on 13th February 2022. His gracious, the Bishop of Bombay Archdiocese, Fr. Alwyn D’silva graced the Holy Eucharistic Celebration along with other priests belonging to Mumbai, Sindhudurg, and Belgaum Diocese.

The renovated Church Altar and the Tabernacle was blessed by Bishop Alwyn D’silva.

Following the Covid -19 guidelines the feast was celebrated in graceful atmosphere for Holy Service under the guidance of Parish Priest Fr. Felix Lobo and the Parish Council members. Mr. P.P Bardeskar and family had sponsored the meal. The students of Ajara Parish who are working as doctors were felicitated with certificate of Appreciation .Nearly 800 people from different places attained the feast.

Open Marathon Competition on account of Diwali Festival

Sangarsh Tarun Mandal, Halewadi had organized Open Marathon Competition on account of Diwali Festival on Saturday Nov 7,2021 at 4:00pm for age group under 14 years. Ms. Myra Stephan D’souza of class 3 of our school secured 3rd place in 2 km Marathon Race .She was awarded with Cash Prize and Trophy.

Drawing Competition on account of Ganesh Feastival

Lokmanya Multipurpose Cooperative Society Ltd had organized Drawing Competition on account of Ganesh Feastival. There were two age groups for the competition:

(1) Group A – Age Group 6 to 10 years

(2) Group B – Age Group 11 to 13 years

Alumni Rosary School Ajara Meet (ARSA)

Rosary English School Ajara, organized the Ex-students meet on Nov 7,2021 on Rosary School Grounds at 5:30p.m. It was organized with the help of Ex-students Mr. Prakash Carvalho, Dr.Shradhanand Thakur, Dr.Motes Lobo, Mr.Ambrose Cruz and Mr. Louis D’souza. We had 250 ex-students who attended from 1977 Batch till date.

The program began with welcoming all the Ex-Rosarians by Mrs.Cosu Bardeskar followed by the lighting of Traditional Lamp and a short prayer. Rosary English School students presented Welcome Dance and Cultural Dance. It took the students back to their school days. Dr.Motes Lobo, spoke on behalf of the Junior Ex-students. How he learnt moral values, discipline and adjustments in life. After this the principal, Fr.Felix Lobo expressed his thoughts by extending a warm welcome to all Ex-students. He appreciated the alumni coming together from different walks of life, Pune, Kolhapur, Goa, Mumbai and Belgaum. He acknowledge the huge contribution the ex-students made on the Golden Jubilee in the year 2017.He also mentioned how the school is grown during these years like extension of School Staff room, renovation of Science Lab,  Computer Lab, Library, digitalization of classrooms.

Mr.Prakash carvalho expressed his thoughts and experiences. He mentioned about the different batches who came forward . Dr. Thakur of 1990 batch helped the school by installing a cooler & water purifier .Scholarships were in the name late Fr. Jacob Carvalho and Late Fr.Franklin D’souza awarded by 1990 and 2007 batch respectively has helped many young boys and girls to do better in life. he recalled how he along with other ex-students collected money from different places by visiting them as a Team. He had a privilege to help the school in its Golden Jubilee Celebrations. He managed to gather many ex-students for Golden Jubilee.

We organized Community Games Like Tug of War, Musical Chair & Filling the Bottles for all the students. We could see the fun and laughter that they experienced.

Snacks and refreshments were sponsored by Mr.Anthony Fernandes and Fellowship Delicious Meal was Sponsored by Dr.Thakur.

The ex-students who registered were awarded with a Memento and a flower. The Vote of thanks was proposed by Mr.Stephan D’souza

The program ended with a delicious meal.

Minority Development & Welfare Programme

Saturday 10, 2021 a programme was organized in Rosary English School Hall at 10.00am by Maharashtra Minority NGO Forum regarding Minority Development &Welfare for Ajra Centre. The programme began with prayer by Principal Fr. Felix Lobo. Father welcomed one and all. A brief information regarding Minority Development Centre & Minority Schemes was presented with the help of PowerPoint Presentation.

Various Government Schemes were explained to the students and parents present for the programme-

The students from Rosary School,Urdu School,Din Dayal School,Ajara High School along with their parents were  prsent.Mr. Sameer Darwajkar coordinated the whole programme and thanked the entire Rosary Family,dignitaries,students and parents

 

 

Teacher’s Day celebration –Rosary School, Ajara

Teachers Day was celebrated in Rosary English School on September 4, 2021 and the celebration began at 10 am on the morning in the school open grounds. The programme started with a school assembly conducted by class 10 students. Bro.Paul, welcomed the Principal, the Ex-students, Teaching and Non-teaching staff and all students. The students of Class 8 presented welcome song. Miss. Siddhi Patil (class 10) gave speech on Teachers day. The Ex-students batch 1990 of Rosary School were present for the function. They handed over Scholarships in the memory of late Rev. Fr. Jacob Carvalho SJ for the successful students of Std X at Board examinations annually cash prize of Rs.4000/- and a appreciation certificate .

Ex-Rosarian (Batch 1990) Mr. Waman Samant shared his experiences with the students. Former Head Master Mr. I.K Patil also expressed his gratitude and shared his memories.

A short cultural programme was presented by students of class 9 and 10. The Principal Fr. Felix Lobo thanked all the ex-students for attending the programme and also put forth the proposal for Rosary Junior College.

The programme concluded with vote of thanks.

There was a grand celebration of the feast of Rosary Churchn Ajara on 13th February 2021. His gracious, the Bishop of Sidhudurga, Fr. Alwyn Barreto graced the Holy Mass along with other 35 priest. Fr. Felix Lobo, the parish priest of the church, made minute plans for the safety from Covid-19 yet graceful atmosphere for devotional Holy Service with the help of Parish Council. Mr. Ambrose Cruz sponsored the meal and entire expenditure dedicating the occasion for welfare of his family and specially parents who completed their 35 years of togetherness. It was a disciplined Service with about fifteen hundred faithful.

Achievement of Rosarains in State Level Mathan G.K Examination 2020

Mast.Arnav Sanket Chodankar of class 2 of Rosary English School Ajara appeared for State Level Manthan General Knowledge Examination 2020 and he secured A+ Garde with 85 % marks. He secured State Rank -12, District Rank-11 and Centre level Rank- 1 for his Outstanding performance.He was awarded with certificate and memento.

Mast. Sanskar Kamble (class 5),Mast.Ayaan Chand ( Class 7),Miss. Arpita Swami (Class 7),Miss.Joycelyn Fernandes (Class 8),Miss. Utpreksha Gajbhiye (Class 8). The students were guided by Fr. Felix Lobo and the teachers.

The Youth and the Parishioners of Rosary Church, Ajara visited our Church Property at Mahasuli, on 7th March 2021 and did the Cleaning of the entire Premises.

Quilts were distributed among the boarders of Rosary English High School by the CASA, an association, which mainly supports economically weak students. Honourable Tehsildar, Mr. Vikas Ahire, and Fr. Felix Lobo, the director of the Boarding, appreciated the selfless sevice of CASA.

Kolhapur District Athletics Association , Kolhapur had organized Sub Junior Track & Field Championship events for SubJunior Group of Boys & Girls on 1st March 2020 at Shivaji University Synthetic Track Grounds .  Ms. Sejal Sawant (class 2) secured 2nd place in Long Jump Event in age group of 8 yrs while Mast. Athrav Nevrekar (class 4) secured 3rd place in Shop Put Event in age group of 10yrs.These two students were awarded with medals, certificate and cash prizes. These two students will be participating for State Level Championship which will be held in Sangli on 20th-21st March 2020.

Drawing competition held in Maligre High School.Rosary English School Ajara students again shone with flying colours. Shivam Kesarkar of Std IV secured first place awarded by Trophy, Certificate and Cash prize.Also Myra Dsouza of Std I secured consolation prize awarded by Certificate and Cash prize.

Savedhna Foundation had organised Chess Competition in which Mast.Harshvardhan Desai of class 7 of Rosary English School, Ajara secured 3rd place in junior group among Ajara Gadhinglaj & Chandgad taluka.

The student of Rosary English School ,Ajara Miss Sania Chougule of class 10 is selected in Kishori Group Kabaddi team ,Kolhapur….she will be participating in State Level Kabaddi Tournament which will be on 19th Jan 2020 at Ahmednagar.

She will be participating in practice camp at LIC Grounds,Kolhapur from 14.01.2020 to 18.01.2020

Miss Sania Chougule of Rosary School Ajara is selected in kolhapur Divisional Kabaddi Team 2019-2020.all the best for her kabaddi matches which will be held at Oras on 11th & 12th oct 2019.

Rosary English School, Ajara under 17 girls kabaddi team won taluka level kabaddi competition held at Hattivade on 17.09.2019. the team will qualify for District level kabaddi competition in kolhapur

Taluka level ground events for under 14 & under 17 age group for boys and girls were held at Hattiwade,on 19.09.2019 and 20.09.2019 respectively. the students of Rosary English School ,Ajara participated in these competition and won 1st and 2nd place in running, shot put, discus throw,1×100 m &1×400 m relay events… the winners will participate in District level competition which will be held at kolhapur.

The students of Rosary English School, Ajara shone their excellence in Brain Development Examination(BDS) 2020. Ms.Shifa Nesarikar (class 7) secured 85 marks and gold medal, Mast.Harshvardhan Desai(class 7) scored 84 marks and gold medal. Mast.Rajvardhan Patil (class 4)secured 88 marks & gold medal and Mast. Sanskar Kamble (class 3) secured 88 marks and silver medal. Mast. Spandan Dhadam (class 3) secured 79 marks.

Rosary English School Ajara under 17 age group girls kabaddi team won 1st prize in Kabaddi Tournament  organized at Uttur on 26th Nov 2019.

Akhil Bhartiya Gandharv Mahavidhyalaya Mandal, Mumbai had organized Harmonium Pravinya Pariksha . The students of Rosary English School, Ajara participated and appeared in this examination and scored A grades and special grades.

Central Board of IT & Vocational Training had organised “Maths-Masti Competition” in month of January 2019 in Rosary English School Ajara for std 1st to 5th.

All students articipated out of these studrnts 15 students did well and won medals & certificates

The students of Rosary English School, Ajara had appeared for Elementary Grade Drawing Examination 2017-18 & passed with flying colours. Out of 74 students , 4 students were placed in  grade “A”, 30 students in grade “B” and remaining 40 got grade “C”.

Ajara Roller Skating Academy had organized “Roller Skating Championship”on 17.02.2019 at Ganesh Hall ,Gandhinagar,Gadhinglaj.The students of Rosary English School, Ajara participated and won 1st prize in different age groups.

Rosary English School Ajara students again made school proud by their flying colours of success in Geography Talent Search Examination…Disha Chavan of class 10 scored 100 out of 100 in the exam and was awarded with gold medal,certificate and cash prize…Rohan Norona (class 10)scored 2nd with 97 marks and won silver medal while Maaz Bhadgaonkar(class10) secured 3rd place Bronze Medal with 96 marks.Mr.Mandar Halvankar was awarded with  momento
