It is important that every student has his / her own set of text books, exercise books and work books as prescribed by the school. The student should also possess his own writing materials - compass set with a pen, pencil and eraser. It is advisable that students bring along two pens.
Each student should look after his / her own belongings. The school will not be responsible for any loss.
Parents are advised that they do not give their wards fancy things to be brought to school. Gold Jewellery will not be allowed. Besides being a source of distraction, it can also lead to different aspects of indiscipline. Students can be liable to disciplinary action on these grounds.
Students cannot leave their classrooms without the prior permission of the teachers in the class. During school hours, students are expected to observe silence not only in the classroom but also in the corridors and the school premises.
During the interval, the students should strictly follow the instructions of the Prefects and Deputy Prefects in order to maintain discipline.
Running, playing and shouting in the school building or in the school premises during school hours is not permitted.
Students are forbidden to throw paper or ink on the floor of the classroom or the corridors. Waste paper should be disposed in the dustbin.
Students are strictly prohibited from entering the staff room unless they are permitted to do so. Students are not allowed to use the washrooms meant for the staff members.
Every student should show a high quality of good behaviour and mannerism, both within and outside the school. Lack of courtesy and disrespect to any member of the school staff will be treated with severe disciplinary action.
The school will take severe action against immoral behaviour or attitude shown by the students both within and outside the school. Students indulging in immoral behaviour will be liable to dismissal from school.
No collections of any purpose whatsoever will be allowed without the prior permission of the Principal.
Students using abusive language will be seriously dealt with.
Each student must have his own school diary & I - card & bring the same to school every day. Parents should check the diaries regularly. A student who mutilates or loses his school diary / I - card will have to pay a fine as prescribed by the school administration and procure a new one.
PARENT INVOLVEMENT
Parents should ensure that their ward studies regularly. Regularity and consistency will help the student to improve and be more efficient. Parents should ensure to attend Open Day Sessions organized by the school. During these sessions parents are advised to meet the class teacher and subject teachers and discuss their ward's progress.
Parents are also advised to attend all meetings organized for them by the school from time to time.
Parents should encourage their ward to participate in the curricular and co-curricular activities of the school in order to grow in wisdom and to develop their personality.
Parents should avoid meeting teachers during school hours, especially when the teacher is in class. They should preferably meet before or after school hours or with prior appointment.
If there is any change in the residential address or office address, the parents must inform the school authorities immediately.
The parent should also inform the school authorities immediately if their ward is ill and will be absent for many days. A doctor's certificate for the same should be produced.
In case of serious illness care should be taken that the other children of the school are not affected. In such situations it is advisable not to send the child to school during that period.
Parents should regularly check their ward's diary and take note of any remark made or any instruction issued by the school. The remarks should be duly signed by the parents and take corrective measures while ensuring that the same are not repeated.
Parents and guardians should be aware that they cannot dictate to the Management and that the Management has a right to say on what conditions it will admit or retain pupils in the school. The school reserves the right to set conditions for admissions.
Students should not take part in any political activity, pertinent to any subordination, malpractices in connection with examinations. Repeated and willful mischief which has a negative influence on the fellow pupils will make a student liable to expulsion permanently or for a time at the discretion of the Principal.
If a parent has a complain it should be addressed to the Principal of the school specifying the ward's, name, class and division. Parents are encouraged to get involved with the studies of their wards and contribute to the progress of the school.
